What Are the Major Differences D7 &D8
1. Framwork
D7 does not have powerful framwork .
D8 has symfany framwork which make it powerfull.
2. Multingual
D7 supported some language.
D8 supported more language as compaired to D7.
3. Theme Engine
D7 themes and PHP templates are used.
D8 new theme engine Twig is used.
4. CKEditor
D7 there is no powerful text editor.
D8 has new text editor CkEditor.
5. Responsive Web Design
One of the main differences between CMSs versions. In comparison to D7.
D8 uses the breakpoint media queries that facilitate the responsive web design.
6. Fields Types
In comparison to D7,
D 8 has new field types such as date, email address, phone number, link, or notes.
